Daily Scriptures

November 21, 2014 — I haven't been posting daily. Dave Parker said, “You can at least put some scriptures.” So here I'm doing a review of the scriptures received last week :)

From Pastor Ward:

James 5:16

The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

“Tremendous power is available from God when we put our all into prayer.”

Romans 12:3

. . . think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

“This measure of faith is from Jesus & all things are possible.”

Acts 2:20

The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come.

“Be ready for this day.”

Matthew 17:21

Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

“Prepare your faith to be strengthened during the prayer and fast.”

Psalm 118:8

It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.

“I prefer to trust the God who hold my every breath in his hands.”

James 4:6

But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.

“Enjoy the grace of God today & be humble.”

Colossians 2:14

[All that was against us Jesus] . . . took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross.

“Jesus nailed to the cross our sin and shame. Walk free.”

Isaiah 9:6

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

“Vote for Jesus. His government is perfect.”

Today, November 8, 2014, I just want to list scriptures I received from brothers throughout the week.

From Pastor Ward:

Isaiah 40:29

He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.

“God will give you power and strength. Hold on to the Lord.”

1 John 4:19

We love him, because he first loved us.

“Jesus showed his love for us by giving his life for us. Let’s follow him and walk in love.”

Mark 6:50

Immediately he talked with them, and saith unto them, Be of good cheer: it is I; be not afraid.

“Trouble surrounds us. Always hear our Lord’s words.”

Mark 5:28

For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.

“If anything is stopping you from reaching Jesus, break through!”

From Kraig:

1 Timothy 2:5-6

5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

Romans 14:8

For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s.

Psalm 55:16-17

16 As for me, I will call upon God; and the Lord shall save me.

17 Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.

Psalm 95:1

O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.

Psalm 25:14

The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.

Acts 5:15

Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.

Brightte: Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. — Matthew 5:16
